Benjamin Diaz

Founder & Executive Director

Benjamin Diaz is a remarkable individual whose life journey has been marked by significant challenges and profound transformation. Born in Borger, Texas, Benjamin's early years were characterized by a love of education and fascination with the culinary arts, though his struggles with dyslexia made it difficult for him to keep up with his peers, and he often felt isolated and alone.

As he got older, Benjamin's mental health issues began to take a toll on him, leading to a spiral of depression and substance abuse. It was during this time that he entered an unhealthy and abusive relationship with the mother of his child, which eventually led to legal troubles and incarceration.

However, Benjamin was not one to give up so easily. With the support of his friends and family, he dedicated himself to turning his life around. He attended therapy, went through treatment, and eventually emerged from incarceration with a renewed sense of purpose.

Through his experiences, Benjamin became acutely aware of the challenges that fathers face when navigating the family court system. He founded the Fatherly Justice Association, a non-profit organization that provides assistance to fathers navigating the complexities of the family court system, helping them assert their right to parenting time with their children.

Benjamin is also an accomplished chef with over two decades of experience. He credits his love of cooking with helping him find solace in difficult times and channeling his energy into something positive.

Despite facing accusations related to the mother of his child in the past, Benjamin remains committed to ending the cycle of abuse and has seen firsthand the tragic consequences of domestic violence. His story of personal growth and resilience is a shining inspiration to others, and he harbors a deep belief in second chances and the power of redemption.
